The aviation and airline industry use
computer generated images and animations in many aspects of
their work, often found in animations intended for TV, video,
cinemas, the Internet as well as still images used for printing
or digital presentations. For example for educational use,
where perhaps a traditional animation is more appropriate,
or maybe in an animation where the purpose is to make it look
as realistic as possible i.e. flight simulators and computer
games.
Part
of the project involved creating a 3D interactive virtual
tour of an aeroplane using Macromedia Director in order to
promote the launch of a new airline.
The
Lingo scripting language was also used.
